Speed 3D Demonstrates Al Image Generation Running Entirely On-Device with Snapdragon X2 Elite

Sixth-generation Picbot platform showcases on-device generative AI on PCs powered by Snapdragon X2 Elite

TAIPEI, Taiwan | September 24, 2026 — Speed 3D Inc., a Taiwan-based AI software company specializing in computer vision, generative AI and hardware integration, will showcase Picbot Edge at Snapdragon Summit 2026 in Maui, Hawaii, September 22–24. The event marks Picbot Edge’s first international showcase outside Taiwan, following its world debut at Computex 2026.

Developed as a software showcase for Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., Picbot Edge demonstrates how generative AI can move from cloud-based processing to an on-device experience on PCs powered by the Snapdragon® X2 Elite processor. Speed 3D worked closely with Qualcomm Technologies engineers to optimize its inference pipeline for the Qualcomm® Hexagon™ NPU, enabling stylized portrait generation entirely on-device, without cloud data transfer.

At Snapdragon Summit, visitors will take photos and choose from several event-exclusive styles. Picbot Edge will create an AR try-on experience plus two AI-generated images from the same photo. Guests can retrieve their results through QR code and receive a printed photo commemorating Snapdragon Summit 2026 in Hawaii.

The technology has since expanded into commercial retail and brand activations. Speed 3D was selected as a L’Oréal BIG BANG 2025 winner from more than 700 applicants in North Asia, and has delivered Picbot experiences for brands including Maybelline New York and La Roche-Posay.

Following Snapdragon Summit, Speed 3D is seeking collaborations with global brands, technology partners and overseas distributors to bring Picbot Edge and other Picbot solutions into new markets.
